Gleanings in Graveyards

Bideford

“Her marriage day appointed was,
And wedding-clothes provided,
But when the day arrivéd did,
She sickened and she died did.”

“Here lies two brothers by misfortune surrounded,
One died of his wounds and the other was drownded.”
