A major of Lithuanian lancers, freed from prison and exiled to America, tells the story of the Polish rising of 1830 to 1831 against Russian rule. He follows the revolution from its outbreak through the campaigns and cavalry charges on the plains of Wawer to its defeat, and dedicates his book to the free people of the United States.
A rare participant’s history of the November Uprising, published in Boston in 1833 for American sympathisers. Download the free EPUB.
