John Ireton, back from soldiering in the Austrian service, is living in a mountain cabin in the Carolinas when Captain Falconnet’s challenge arrives. A duel, a lost love and the war between Patriots and Tories pull him into a long rivalry with another gentleman who loves the same lady, through raids, prisons, battles and the shifting loyalties of the Southern campaign.
A full-blooded swashbuckling romance of the American Revolution, ideal for readers who enjoy duels and divided loyalties. Download the free EPUB.
