In the title story a club member tells of finding an explorer in the African interior tormented by a curse that grows out of his own flesh. Other tales, many drawn from White’s own dreams, include a Viking blade, a sinister picture puzzle, a creature called the Snout and a mysterious address, Alfandega 49a.
Classic weird fiction of 1927, its colonial African setting very much of its time. Download the free EPUB.
