Mocking the scholars who turned Bluebeard into a sun myth, France claims to set the record straight. His Bluebeard is a shy, generous country gentleman with an unlucky blue beard, who marries seven times and is deceived, mocked and robbed by one wife after another, until the famous forbidden closet gives his last wife her chance.
A witty, ironic retelling of Perrault by the Nobel-winning master of French irony. Download the free EPUB.
