After a quarrel with her husband Harry, who has rushed off to Africa, the young English Elizabeth sails on the Lusitania for America. In letters to her mother she reports on the Plaza Hotel, Long Island house parties, American women and men, and New York nights out, with the innocent snobbery of a pretty aristocrat.
A witty epistolary sequel to The Visits of Elizabeth, by the woman who later gave Hollywood the word “It”. Download the free EPUB.
