Landis and Elsa are just back from their honeymoon when a dinner party at her uncle Paul Bernard’s house turns to archery, for everyone in the family shoots. Then a man named Harrison is found shot in the back with an arrow, and a Japanese bow, a blunted shaft, a hysterical maid and the butler’s suite all become pieces of a puzzle for the police.
A neat American country-house mystery of the 1920s for fans of fair-play detection. Download the free EPUB.
