Uncle Ike, an old man with a long clay pipe and a wary eye, keeps company with a red-headed boy who never stops inventing new pranks. Their sparring conversations, imaginary quail hunts in the park and a plaster that must come off before someone’s return make up a string of comic episodes in the manner of the Bad Boy books.
