The village of Rudge-in-the-Vale dozes in the summer sun, but at Rudge Hall the miserly Lester Carmody is plotting to steal his own heirlooms for the insurance. His nephew John is in love with the girl next door, a health-farm proprietor named Twist turns out to be a crook, and the confidence tricksters Soapy and Dolly Molloy arrive to complicate the job.
A sunny late-1920s Wodehouse farce, for anyone who loves Blandings and Jeeves. Download the free EPUB.
