Printed in London in 1624, Winslow’s report carries the story of Plymouth Colony on from its first year. He describes the threat from the Narragansetts, the failing settlement of Weston’s men at Wessagusset, his journey to nurse the sick sachem Massasoit, and Standish’s expedition against the Massachusetts men. This 1841 edition, edited by Alexander Young, adds extensive explanatory notes.
