A Scottish minister retells the Genesis story of Joseph for young readers, from his brothers’ jealousy and the pit to his sale to the Ishmaelites, his imprisonment in Egypt, his interpretation of Pharaoh’s dreams, his rise to power and the moment his brothers stand before him accused as spies. Each stage is used to show how providence brings good out of evil.
