Lucy is sure she is going to see a gold mine, but the tallyho coach is really carrying the whole Dunlee family, Uncle James and Aunt Vi to Castle Cliff, a played-out mining town high in the Cuyamaca Mountains. There the children meet an eccentric old lady, acquire a striped kitten and build air-castles through a long holiday.
A cheerful family story from the author of the Little Prudy books, full of small adventures and gentle lessons. Download the free EPUB.
