Bob and Betty, Paul and Peggy and little Dot go to the same school and share a fine teacher called Miss West. In short, simple chapters they guess what is under a paper wrapping, hunt through the woods for a lost turkey and her eight babies, and draw lots to see who carries the news, all illustrated by Maud and Miska Petersham.
