Starting with the morning-glory, Margaret Warner Morley shows children what a flower is: calyx, petals, ovules, leaves and roots, and how bees and other insect friends help plants make seed. Poems and little stories are woven in among the botany.
A charming early nature-study book that still makes a good introduction to botany. Download the free EPUB.
