Carolyn Wells’s book of nonsense rhymes opens with a kitten given a butterfly’s wings by a fairy and left wondering what she is. After it come the Kings of Kanoodledum and Kanoodledee at sea in a jigamaree, an intelligent hen, a happy hyena, a musical carp, a disastrous photograph and the very merry voyage of the Macaroni Man, all illustrated by Oliver Herford.
Delightful read-aloud nonsense in the tradition of Edward Lear. Download the free EPUB.
