Number 12 Cherry Street is a woebegone house on a poor street, and a clergyman’s large family must turn it into a home. Miss Billy, the capable eldest daughter, manages the budget and the brood, while brother Theodore talks his way into a job with the horses of Mr. Hennesy and new neighbours bring trials and friendships.
A warm family story of making do, with plenty of humour among the hardships. Download the free EPUB.
