Sunshine, so named because she is such a sunny child, is not yet three and insists on the exact truth: it was not mamma’s shawl but her waterproof. The author follows her on a holiday with her busy parents, recording her questions, her squabbles with other children, her first fishing and the small lessons in honesty and good temper that fill her days.
A loving portrait of early childhood by the author of John Halifax, Gentleman. Download the free EPUB.
