Teddy is ill in bed and alone for the afternoon when a little fairy appears from the patchwork counterpane. Each square of the quilt becomes a doorway into a story: a princess in a golden castle, owls and a gamblesome elf, a magic circus, bears at the edge of the polar sea, a ruby ring and the rainbow children.
A cosy classic for reading aloud to children, especially on sick days in bed. Download the free EPUB.
