Aladdin, the lazy son of a poor tailor, is approached by a stranger claiming to be his long-lost uncle, in truth an African magician who needs a boy to fetch a lamp from an enchanted cave. The lamp and a magic ring put two genies at Aladdin’s command, and with them palaces, riches and the hand of the Sultan’s daughter.
The classic tale from The Arabian Nights, short enough to read aloud in an evening. Download the free EPUB.
