An urgent appeal brings Tom out of his machine shop, and soon he, the excitable Mr. Damon and a new airship are bound on a rescue. When the craft is forced down on Earthquake Island, where castaways are stranded and the ground will not keep still, Tom’s only hope of summoning help is to build a wireless set from whatever he can salvage.
The sixth Tom Swift book, from 1911, when wireless telegraphy was the newest marvel a boy inventor could master. Download the free EPUB.
