The schoolboys of the secret society known as the B. O. W. C. set up camp in the woods near Grand Pré, in the old Acadian country of Nova Scotia. With a divining rod, Caesar, a Latin grammar and Euclid, they hunt by midnight for a French pot of gold in a ruined orchard, while their friend Captain Corbet keeps landing in trouble.
A boisterous Canadian school story set in the Acadian country of Longfellow’s Evangeline, full of pranks and night adventures. Download the free EPUB.
