From the author of Christie’s Old Organ, this short illustrated book for children follows the alarm bell, the launch and the rescue: the rocket apparatus, flares, life-belts and breeches-buoy. A lifeboatman tells the tale, and his wife Polly and daughter Jess wait anxiously on shore.
A Religious Tract Society picture story honouring the lifeboat crews, with a simple Christian message. Download the free EPUB.
