Young Miles Rigdale crosses the Atlantic on the Mayflower and, fascinated by soldiering, attaches himself to Captain Miles Standish. Through landfall at Cape Cod, the first explorations ashore, the hard labour of building Plymouth and the terrible time of the sickness, he learns what courage and duty mean in a struggling colony.
An engaging historical tale of the Pilgrims seen through a boy’s eyes, ideal for young readers of American history. Download the free EPUB.
