While his father rides north to join the King’s army against Scotland, the young heir of Castle Mountjoy must hold his home against attack, and finds an unexpected champion in Cedric, a forester of common birth and uncommon skill with the longbow. Sieges, an archery festival, outlaws in Wolf’s Head Glen and a robber fortress fill the story.
Old-fashioned knightly adventure for young readers who love castles, longbows and loyal friendship. Download the free EPUB.
