Alan Gethryn is a prefect and cricketer of standing at Beckford College when his uncle turns up for the new term: Reginald Farnie, younger than his nephew and a born source of trouble. Missed trains, a bishop, house rows and an M.C.C. match follow as Gethryn tries to keep the boy within the rules.
An early Wodehouse school story, written before Jeeves and Blandings, already showing the timing that made his name. Download the free EPUB.
