Four stories chosen from Wild Animals I Have Known, each the life of a single wild creature. Lobo is the giant wolf who outwits every trap on the cattle ranges of New Mexico; Redruff is a ruffed grouse near Toronto; Raggylug a young cottontail taught by his mother to survive; and Vixen a fox mother defending her cubs near a farm in Springfield.
Seton’s realistic animal stories helped found the genre and still move young and older readers alike. Download the free EPUB.
