A selection of stories and verses drawn from Kipling’s books. Rikki-tikki-tavi the mongoose wages war on the cobras of a Segowlee bungalow, Mowgli is taken in by the wolves, and the Indian tales of William the Conqueror, Wee Willie Winkie, The Lost Legion and Namgay Doola follow, with songs such as Darzee’s Chaunt between them.
A handy sampler of Kipling’s jungle and Raj stories; their imperial attitudes are those of the 1890s. Download the free EPUB.
