Six short holiday pieces from Dickens’s Christmas numbers. He gazes at a lighted Christmas tree and the memories hanging from it, reflects on what the season means as we grow older, and lets a poor relation, a child, a schoolboy and a nobody each tell a quiet story of their own.
A small fireside companion to A Christmas Carol, good for reading aloud in December. Download the free EPUB.
