E. F. Benson was born at Wellington College, where his formidable father Edward White Benson was headmaster, and grew up as the family moved to Lincoln, Truro and finally Lambeth and Addington when his father became Archbishop of Canterbury. He writes with affection and comedy about his parents, his gifted siblings, the old nurse Beth, school and Cambridge.
Witty and tender, it delights readers of Benson’s novels and anyone fond of Victorian family life. Download the free EPUB.
