1920 (Mauberley)

TURNED from the “eau-forte
Par Jaquemart”
To the strait head
Of Messalina:

“His true Penelope

Not the full smile,
His art, but an art
In profile;

Colourless
Pier Francesca,
Pisanello lacking the skill
To forge Achaia.
