On a hot August afternoon at a summer hotel, a bored young man named Barton is told by an older friend that he lives like a fool. Challenged to spend time with Eve Edgarton, a shy, oddly dressed girl everyone overlooks, he soon finds himself on horseback in wild country, stuck in a cave, and thoroughly outmatched by her.
A short, whimsical romance full of Abbott’s breathless charm. Download the free EPUB.
