Carmencita has wanted to stamp on her stiff grey felt hat ever since it was sent to her, and her Christmas present to herself is to smash it flat. Meanwhile Van Landing, a man of means, goes searching through the rough streets of the city with a growing fear, and finds that his errand is changing him.
A light, warm Christmas story by the author of Mary Cary, good for a single evening’s reading. Download the free EPUB.
