Compiled almost as a diary, this record follows the territorial 4th Battalion of the King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment from mobilisation in August 1914 through Festubert, Picardy and the battles that followed. Trench raids, decorations, casualties and the names of officers and men are set down to honour those who volunteered.
A valuable record for family historians and students of Britain’s citizen soldiers. Download the free EPUB.
