Jack and Stella’s household is thrown into confusion by an electric automaton that seems to have a temper of its own. With a would-be detective named Jobbins sending urgent notes and a Mr. Everest on the run, the play tumbles into mistaken identities and comic panic in this one-act version of a three-act farce.
A short Edwardian comedy with an early robot at its centre, easy to stage and fun to read. Download the free EPUB.
