Young Jason Gridley picks up a faint radio signal from Abner Perry deep inside the hollow earth: Tanar, son of Ghak of Sari, has been seized by the Korsars, corsairs of the inner world. The story follows Tanar’s captivity, his entanglement with the Korsar girl Stellara, and his fight to get home across Pellucidar’s seas.
