Back from digging field trenches in summer camp, Dick Prescott, now a yearling and class leader, lectures his classmates against hazing the plebes. Honour cases, a refusal to answer an officer, visits from the folks at home and the romance of Flirtation Walk fill his second year at the Military Academy, with his friend Greg always ready for mischief.
