Virginia brings her school friend Betsy Clossen home from Vine Haven Boarding School to her family’s desert ranch in Arizona, where Betsy is almost sorry they are met by a car rather than a prairie schooner. Riding lessons, a surprise, her brother Malcolm’s story, a curious find and a neighbour’s illness make for a holiday full of mystery.
A warm girls’ story of desert ranch life. Download the free EPUB.
