The collected lectures of a Kentucky orator of the lecture platform. Mixing anecdote, humour and moral appeal, he speaks on traits of character among ordinary people, the home and civic duty, the new woman and the old man, the case for total abstinence, his platform experiences, the fight against the liquor trade, and what he would do if he could live life over.
