A year into the war, Thomas F. A. Smith set out to show English readers how the war looked from Germany. Drawing heavily on German newspapers, books, speeches and soldiers’ diaries, he examines German views of the causes of the war, of Britain, France and Russia, of Belgium and of the aims Germany hoped to achieve.
A revealing compilation of German wartime opinion, framed for a British audience of 1915. Download the free EPUB.
