When a band of desperadoes captures a traveller and his five-year-old stepdaughter, one of them, Brick Willock, cannot bring himself to let the child die. He flees with her into the empty country of Greer County, where she grows up in his dugout as Lahoma, a frontier girl whose past and whose suitors eventually come looking for her.
A warm-hearted frontier romance of the Oklahoma territory, popular in its day. Download the free EPUB.
