A twenty-five-year-old stenographer at a woollen manufacturer’s has always gone half-way to meet adventures, but they never come. His boarding-house friend Kinney, a clerk who seems to stumble into them nightly, tells him he must go after them, so he spends his vacation looking for trouble and finds more than he bargained for.
A light, wry tale from the master of the turn-of-the-century romantic adventure story. Download the free EPUB.
