Courage is a rosy, auburn-haired little girl who dislikes her odd name until she learns to live up to it. In a New York story of friendship and kindness, she watches for her friend Larry, wins over Miss Julia, meets Sylvia and has adventures aboard a lighter on the harbour, until her own courage at last proves its worth.
A tender, old-fashioned tale for young readers by Ruth Ogden, a favourite children’s author of the 1890s. Download the free EPUB.
