Ab is born in a Stone Age forest, survives a childhood among hyenas and cave bears, and grows into a hunter and fighter beside his friend Oak. Waterloo follows him through the discovery of new weapons, the killing of the mammoth, a fierce rivalry and his courtship of Lightfoot, drawing on what the prehistorians of the 1890s believed about early humans.
A pioneering prehistoric novel of 1897, written a decade before Jack London’s Before Adam. Download the free EPUB.
