Around a Viking house-fire the old stories are told, and when the ice goes out young Ulric launches his ship, The Sword. His voyage carries him past the Saxon shore and into the Roman world, until he stands in a crowd in Judea listening to a rabbi called Jesus, and his own fate becomes bound up with the cross.
An unusual religious adventure by a former secretary to Abraham Lincoln, for readers who enjoy Ben-Hur. Download the free EPUB.
