In his final year at the Military Academy, Cadet Dick Prescott reports a classmate for a breach of discipline during pontoon-bridge drill, and the vengeful Jordan sets out to ruin him. When the class committee calls and the cadet “silence” falls, Dick must carry on through months of ostracism while trying to explain himself to the girls back home.
