Guy Aylmer leaves England to serve Dame Margaret at a castle in France just as the feud between the houses of Orleans and Burgundy tears the country apart. Sieges, hostages and the murderous streets of Paris test him before the story arrives at the field of Agincourt, where a small English army defeated the chivalry of France.
