Two young friends find themselves on opposite sides when King Charles and Parliament go to war, one a Cavalier and one a Roundhead. Henty follows them through the great battles and sieges of the 1640s and into the army’s quarrel with Parliament, trying, as his preface says, to show how much right and wrong lay on each side.
A Henty historical adventure that teaches the Civil War through the strains of friendship. Download the free EPUB.
