Squinty is a young farm pig with a funny squint and an itch for adventure. He runs from a big dog, gets lost, makes friends with a toad and a squirrel, and is bought by a boy spending the summer on the farm, who teaches him to jump a rope. Then come a journey, a merry monkey and a balloon ride.
