Royal Macklin believes soldiering is the noblest profession, and when his career at West Point is cut short he sails for Honduras to find a war of his own. Among filibusters, revolutionaries, Gatling guns and rival generals, the young man writes his memoirs early, in case he does not live long enough to write them later.
A brisk, romantic adventure from the war correspondent who knew Central America well. Download the free EPUB.
