Young Adams can hardly believe it when the captain puts his name down for the fifteen against Craven. From that first football match the stories range over Parkhurst’s paper-chase, boat-race, athletic sports and rivalry with Westfield, then turn to a gallery of school types: the sneak, the sulky boy, the untidy boy, the scapegrace and the boy who is never wrong.
School stories from the author of The Fifth Form at St. Dominic’s, full of muddy fields and honest boyish rivalry. Download the free EPUB.
